The definition of the word occult is supernatural, mystical, or magical beliefs, practices, or phenomena. With such a broad definition, the word occult can cover any type of belief system.

And these days any type of belief system is accepted. So, why do we find it so shocking when our favorite celebrity practices occultism? Perhaps because we glorify celebrities and forget they are individuals with desires of their own….

In this story, we will learn about a few celebrities and their occult practices and beliefs.

I bet you know exactly who Michael Jackson is… But do you know his daughter Paris? She is an adult now and while she is stunning, she’s also part of a family who is world famous… With their lengthy musical legacy, it should not be a surprise that she is heading out on her own unique path. Paris has gone on to model, act, and produce some amazing music of her own. While none of this seems out of the ordinary…

Her spiritual side led her to create a coven with some of her close friends. Joined by actress Alexandra Shipp and singer Lavender, the friends joined together during a Hunter moon and took part in a naked moon circle.

A few photos are circulating on the internet of that night but no you cannot see full nudity.

As a lover of the moon, I get it and think that’s an amazing way to welcome a full moon! There are so many news reports on Paris and what everyone is calling a coven… Implying that she’s a witch…

Maybe she is… More power to her… I’m a huge fan of her indie folk music and if you haven’t checked out the Jackson siblings, you should. The three are a force to be reckoned with… They each work hard at making a positive impact on the world…

Maybe Paris Jackson isn’t a full-on witch… You can be sure that Gisele Bundchen is believed to be! The Brazilian model has been one of the highest-paid models in the world. Gisele was listed

as the 16th richest woman in the entertainment industry in 2007. In 2014 she was listed as the 89th most powerful woman by Forbes.

In an interview, she admitted to utilizing tarot cards, and healing stones and is a strong believer in astrology. However, most continue to label her as a witch based on her rituals and practices. While married to NFL star Tom Brady, she practiced pre-game rituals with her husband of 13 years.

After her divorce from Tom Brady, Giselle gave an interview in her Costa Rica home where she revealed that she would consider herself a witch of love who often speaks to birds and butterflies.

Definitely a free spirit! Gisele is a beautiful woman and it sounds like she practices love for sure… Sigh… What I would do to have a vacation home in Costa Rica!

While Gisele practices spreading love 25-year-old rapper Azealia Banks admits to being an actual witch. In an Instagram post, she stated she had been practicing witchcraft for at least three years.

In an Instagram video, she shows a closet in her apartment that is the location of her sacrifices. The walls were covered in old blood, feathers, and an unknown black substance. You can find the clip and watch her sandblast the floors and walls of that closet.

Obviously, the Senior Vice President of PETA, Lisa Lange had a lot to say about this… In a statement exclusive to PEOPLE, she said, “We also hope that Banks’ closet clean-up is a sign that she is planning to clean up her act, become a good witch, and stop the cruel and gruesome sacrifice of frightened animals.”

Azealia has discussed in the past that her interest in witchcraft came from her mother. Her mother practiced white table magic. In an interview with Broadly, she shared her favorite spell, which is the Egg Spell. She described it like this: You cleanse yourself with an egg. Pass the egg all over yourself, praying for all your negativity to go away into the egg. But usually do it when someone is fucking with you to get what the person is doing off of you. You crack it in a crossroad and you walk away and you don’t look back.”

You can find that full interview at Broadly. I have had an egg cleanse performed on me and I can say… After, my life shifted in a very positive way…

Speaking of actually practicing witchcraft… Do you remember the 1996 movie, the craft?!

A transfer student meets 3 outcasts who practice witchcraft… The foursome goes on to wreak havoc with their spells and ultimately suffer the consequences… The character Rochelle was played by actress Rachel True. I’ve seen Rachel titled Hollywood’s most iconic black witch at times but in real life, Rachel has practiced Tarot card reading since she was a teen and is drawn to the occult.

While the movie, The Craft was a huge success, Rochelle was a black, female actress in the 90s… A time much different from now. Her success was hindered due to racism and was excluded from the publicity of the movie.

You can find her story in her book titled, True Heart Intuitive Tarot. It comes with a 78-card tarot deck.

You already know I ordered it already! You can find it on Amazon. I’ll have a link for you in this story on unexplainedrealms.com

If you love 80s music like I do… Then you may know this one already. Daryl Hall of the music duo Hall and Oates told Penthouse magazine in 1987 that he spent six to seven years studying Celtic and druidic traditions as well as the Kabbalah. Daryl focused on ancient techniques for the inner flame. Later in life he discussed that time and stated it was just a way to find balance at that time.

I guess we all have periods where we are seeking some kind of meaning… But what if you are drawn to dark ways, just because you want to party?

That’s what occurred with Sammy Davis Jr. Apparently, the Candyman himself was a member of the church of Satan. It’s reported in Sammy’s autobiography titled, Why Me. Sammy wrote that his Barber who cut his hair was a member and invited him to join.

He allegedly joined to take part in debauchery and women and would go on to attend parties for several years. Sammy left the church after a few years stating that one of the church’s parties went awry, there have never been any details on what happened at his final party.

He later stated that he still had friends who were Satanists. After leaving the church of Satan, Sammy Davis Jr. returned to his Jewish beliefs.

I am a HUGE Sammy Davis Jr. fan… Bigband in general is one of my favorite musical genres. Sammy Davis Jr.’s music is often heard throughout my home and I find it extremely interesting that he was open to other thoughts and belief systems at a time when open minds were restricted.

All these celebrities in this episode caught my attention. I love their disregard for public opinion and the strength of their beliefs.

Behind me, you’re hearing Martin Landstrom and his track, Lemon Squeezy, you can find his music on Spotify and most other music platforms such as Amazon, Pandora, and Apple Music…

Thanks for reading… And stay weird my friends…
